Use social media without the endless feeds

Stillfeed opens the real websites of seven platforms on your iPhone, signed into your own account, and hides the parts built to keep you scrolling. Here's what that looks like on each one.

A tidy desk with a phone face-down beside an open notebook and coffee

Quick answer: Stillfeed is an in-app browser for iPhone. It opens Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn as their real websites, signed into your own account, and hides the endless, algorithmic surfaces before they reach your screen. Messages, the people you follow and search stay where they are.

How Stillfeed works on every platform

Most social apps mix two very different things: the parts you open them for (a message, a friend's post, a specific search) and the parts that keep you there (recommended feeds, trending lists, short-video tabs). Stillfeed keeps the first and hides the second.

It does that without touching your account. Stillfeed shows each platform's own website and hides certain parts of the page on your phone. It never changes your account, followers or posts, and your login goes straight to the platform. No Stillfeed account is needed.

The exact rules for each platform are kept up to date as the websites change. The descriptions below are current as of October 2026.

YouTube

The Shorts tab, Shorts shelves and individual Shorts are removed, and Shorts links don't open. Search, subscriptions and regular videos work as normal. Free from your first launch, with no trial. How to turn off YouTube Shorts.

Instagram

Instagram opens to your Following feed, in chronological order, with Reels and the Explore feed removed. Messages, Stories and search stay. Free from your first launch; Stillfeed Pro, which is optional, can also block Stories and the main Feed, switch on a DMs-only mode and set a daily time limit. How to turn off Reels on Instagram.

For every option side by side, including Screen Time and Safari, see how to block Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts on iPhone.

X (Twitter)

Your home timeline opens on Following instead of For You. The Trends page is blocked, and on Explore, trending topics, event banners and "who to follow" suggestions are hidden. Messages stay available. Read the X guide.

Reddit

r/popular and r/all are blocked, and your home feed opens sorted by New: posts from communities you joined, newest first, instead of the ranked Best, Hot, Top or Rising feeds. Read the Reddit guide.

TikTok

The For You feed is removed and TikTok opens to Following. Friends, profiles, your inbox, messages and search still work. Read the TikTok guide.

Snapchat

Stillfeed opens Snapchat for Web with Discover, Spotlight, Lenses and public Stories blocked, so you land straight in your chats. It's Snapchat as a messaging app. Read the Snapchat guide.

LinkedIn

The "My Network" suggestions page (people you may know) and LinkedIn games are removed. Your feed, jobs, messaging, notifications, profiles, search and the invitation manager all stay. Read the LinkedIn guide.

What's free and what's Pro

  • Free from first launch: Reels, Shorts and Explore removed from Instagram and YouTube, and Instagram opening to Following.
  • Stillfeed Pro (optional): block Stories and the main Feed too, a DMs-only mode and a daily time limit.
  • X, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn: open Stillfeed's settings to see which options are included free and which come with Pro.

How to set it up

  1. Download Stillfeed from the App Store and open it.
  2. Pick a platform.
  3. Log in as you normally would. Your details go straight to the platform.
  4. Browse. The endless parts are already hidden.

Things to know before you start

  • It only works inside Stillfeed. The official apps are unchanged. Move them off your home screen (or delete them) and put Stillfeed in their place, so muscle memory doesn't take you back.
  • It's the website, not the app. Each platform's mobile website can look and behave a little differently from its app, and some app-only features may not be there.
  • iPhone only. There's no Android version at the moment.
