Instagram, without the rabbit hole.
Turn off YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels on iPhone. Stillfeed is a free browser that removes the endless feeds before they load: Reels and Explore on Instagram, Shorts on YouTube, For You on TikTok and X, and more.
Works with seven apps. Tap one to see what changes.
Reels
Sunday brunch was a ten out of ten.
Made it to the top before the clouds rolled in.
What changes on each app
Instagram
Reels and Explore are removed, and the app opens to your Following feed. Messages, Stories and profiles stay.
YouTube
The Shorts tab and Shorts shelves are removed. Search, subscriptions and regular videos work as normal.
TikTok
The For You feed is removed, so TikTok opens to Following. Friends, messages and search stay.
X
Your timeline stays on Following instead of For You, and Trends are hidden. Messages still work.
Reddit
r/popular and r/all are blocked and your home feed is sorted by New, so you see the communities you joined.
Snapchat
Spotlight, Discover, Lenses and public Stories are blocked, so Snapchat becomes chat only.
LinkedIn
People You May Know suggestions and games are removed. Your feed, jobs and messages stay.
Close the app when you’re done.

The blocking is free. Pro goes further.
Reels, Shorts and Explore are off from your first launch: no trial, no payment, no account. Stillfeed Pro is optional and adds Stories and Feed blocking, DMs-only mode and a daily time limit.
Is it really free, or is there a trial?
Free, unconditionally, from your first launch: no trial, no payment, no gift period that runs out. Stillfeed Pro is a separate, optional purchase for Stories and Feed blocking, DMs-only mode and a daily time limit.
Does it touch my account?
No. Stillfeed loads instagram.com and youtube.com directly and hides certain pages before they render. Your account, followers and posts stay exactly as they were.
Which apps does it work with?
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Reddit, Snapchat and LinkedIn. See what changes on each.
