How to use LinkedIn without distractions: hide People You May Know on iPhone

LinkedIn is useful for jobs, messages and keeping in touch. Here's how to keep all of that and lose the endless "people you may know" suggestions and games.

Quick answer: Stillfeed, an in-app browser for iPhone, opens the real linkedin.com signed into your account with the My Network suggestions page ("people you may know") and LinkedIn games removed. Your feed, jobs, messaging, notifications, profiles, search and the invitation manager all keep working.

Why LinkedIn eats more time than you meant

LinkedIn isn't the first app people think of when they think of doomscrolling, but it has the same pull in a quieter form. The "people you may know" list never really ends: connect with one person and more appear. Daily games add a reason to open the app that has nothing to do with work. Neither is why most people use LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is still useful, though. Recruiters message you there, jobs are posted there, and your professional contacts live there. Deleting it often isn't realistic. What helps is keeping the useful parts and removing the extras.

What Stillfeed hides on LinkedIn

Stillfeed loads linkedin.com, the real LinkedIn website, signed into your own account. As of October 2026, it removes:

  • The My Network suggestions page, with its "people you may know" lists.
  • LinkedIn games.

What still works

  • Feed: posts from your network.
  • Jobs: search and apply as usual.
  • Messaging: reply to recruiters, colleagues and contacts.
  • Notifications.
  • Profiles and search: look someone up on purpose.
  • Invitation manager: accept or ignore connection requests.

Stillfeed never changes your LinkedIn account, your connections or your posts. Your login goes straight to LinkedIn, and no Stillfeed account is needed.

Free or Pro?

Open Stillfeed's settings to see which LinkedIn options are included free and which come with Pro. The Instagram and YouTube part (Reels, Shorts and Explore removed) is free for everyone from the first launch. Stillfeed Pro is optional and adds things like a daily time limit.

How to set it up

  1. Download Stillfeed from the App Store and open it.
  2. Pick LinkedIn.
  3. Log in as you normally would.
  4. Browse. Suggestions and games are already gone.

Trade-offs to know about

  • The feed stays. Stillfeed keeps the LinkedIn feed, because many people use it for work. If the feed itself is what you scroll, Stillfeed won't remove it on LinkedIn; pairing it with a Screen Time limit can help (see Stillfeed vs Screen Time).
  • It's the website. LinkedIn's mobile website can differ from the app, and some app-only features may not be there.
  • It only works inside Stillfeed. Move the official LinkedIn app off your home screen and put Stillfeed in its place.
  • iPhone only. There's no Android version.

More on other platforms

Stillfeed also works with X, Reddit, TikTok and Snapchat, and removes Reels and Shorts from Instagram and YouTube. See them all on the platforms page. If you want to understand the habit itself, start with What is doomscrolling? or take the doomscrolling test.
